This installation highlights the island context as a limited space where fauna and flora are brought to coexist and continually negotiate territory. It questions our disconnection and uprooting from our natural environment as a consequence of recent shifts towards modern lifestyles and urbanization through cyanotype prints juxtaposed to related audio testimonies recorded in Mauritius and Reunion.
