Swār, India • Sound Islet or Interactive Islet
This project stems from an artistic inquiry aiming to revisit and narrate the listening cultures of South Asia in the contemporary world in crisis, thereby aligning with values of inter-connectivity, community, and shared lifestyles often found in ritual practices of regions of the Global South. It utilizes artificial intelligence to recognize human presence, responding to the latter by triggering its harmonizing bells.
